Slot machine The Wish Master

Gamers can make their deepest dreams come true with the fantastic game ‘The Wish Master’ from Swedish firm Net Entertainment. This online game with 5 reels and 20 paylines takes the participant to the world of big money after moving on to the wish-fulfillment prize stage, opened by multiplayer and wilds.

First Impressions of The Wish Master

The slot is designed in a bright, colourful animation style reminiscent of classic Disney films, but its interface remains straightforward and easy to follow. Before starting a spin, players can adjust two separate settings: COIN VALUE determines the value of an individual coin, while LEVEL sets the number of coins wagered on each payline. There are ten bet levels to choose from, and the BET display shows the total cost of the next spin, so the stake can be checked before the reels move. The main controls also include Spin for a single round, Autoplay for a selected sequence of rounds, and Max Bet for a spin at the highest available level using the current coin value. The paytable explains the winning combinations and their values, while the on-screen balance and win displays make it easy to follow the available funds and the result of the latest spin. All these options are grouped in one area, allowing players to change their settings without having to navigate away from the reels.

In addition to convenience and simplicity, the design is beautifully stylized. All the keys are made in the form of jewellery stones with engraved inscriptions.

Gameplay Process

At the beginning of the game, the gamer sees a vivid animation that plunges him into a cave filled with gold and jewels. Somewhere ahead, a gin lamp can be seen, then the display fades away. The game features a rich and vibrant colour design. Light oriental motifs can be heard in the background, and when the spin key is pressed, the sound of falling coins is heard.

This slot machine is one of the most impressive of all developed by the Net ENT design team. The colorful playing cards J, Q, K and A are the least important symbols in the slot, while the most valuable icons are from Asian tales of genies. Each symbol comes in the form of a stylized beast mask with a sparkling gem inserted. The most valuable icon in the slot is a pink and lilac coloured snake, followed by an orange cat and the third icon is a green scorpion. A blue hawk rounds out the four profitable icons.

The genie himself is a rather vicious character. He’s alternately grey and black with glittering eyes and flame spray flying from his hands.

Slot features

In the slot machine, the wilds are replaceable, and in the prize set can also expand. The wild symbol comes in the form of a colourful animation – the word ‘Wild’ bends in flaming fire over the sinister genie’s gloomy shadow. The Wild symbol substitutes for any of the symbols on the display other than the scatter symbol.

The Wish Master Bonuses and Features

Scatter symbols appear as orange scrolls bearing the genie’s lamp. Just one Scatter anywhere on the reels is enough to summon the genie and trigger the Wish Master feature. When this happens, the genie emerges from the lamp, and the slot activates one of five randomly selected enhancements for the next 10 spins. The current effect appears in the feature inventory, while a counter shows how many spins remain.

These enhancements alter the reels in different ways. Extra Wild turns the designated symbol into a Wild whenever it appears, while Expanding Wild causes any Wild to cover its entire reel. Random Wild places two additional Wilds at random positions after each spin, and Wild Reel fills the reel where the triggering Scatter landed with Wild symbols. The Multiplier feature increases payline wins by 2x or 3x; if both multipliers are active, they combine into a 6x multiplier. A further Scatter during an active feature adds five spins and activates another enhancement. Up to three features can run simultaneously, and if another Scatter lands when all three positions in the inventory are occupied, the oldest feature is replaced by a new one.
